#SPECIAL GUEST: RETOUCHED - SPAIN

Primary Colours Music's Antipodean Dubs continues its celebration of Australian dub techno talent with the release of Volume B.

This instalment features Echo Inspectors, who have been a cornerstone of Primary Colours since its inception in 2012. Their track "Uncanny Valley" exemplifies their signature fusion of dub techno and deep rhythms, underscored by their meticulous programming.

Next, Sydney-based producer Taction delivers "Dialect," a deep techno homage imbued with dark, underground drone tones, reflecting his reverence for the genre's pioneers.

Brisbane’s Subset makes a powerful return with "Impedance," a track that fuses rootzy vibes, low-slung basslines, and massive drums, pulling listeners into its captivating stepping grooves.

The release is capped off by Sydney's Simon Mann, a long-time supporter of Primary Colours and renowned skater, with "Delta Morphic." This track radiates an uplifting energy through playful rhythms and effects, showcasing Simon's distinctive talents and rounding out this exceptional collection of Australian dub techno.

I know I didn't write this beautiful piece, John Murphy did, this is my interpretation, I wanted to show a side of me that I don't always get to express. Composed and performed this on my various synths, no more needs saying.

about Ben Outdoor 
Ben is an Australian wax champion and I gave his Dub Techno podcast series a particularly valuable rating.

His mix is absolutely top notch in terms of craftsmanship and his transitions crack every track with a brutal groove so that no monotony can arise.

A good set is harmonious as a whole and has a mix that you can hear.

These two elements make Ben's sets something special and are always worth repeating.

about Aakustik
Ingo Bauermann was a good friend of mine and highly talented in vinyl mixing.
Unfortunately he died in a tragic accident in 2018, which I still can't and don't want to realize!

His mom gave me his DJ equipment and after a while I started working on it without any specific goal.

I realized very quickly that I had absolutely no talent and anyone would probably have given up on it but surprisingly that was what motivated me the most.

When I heard Ingo's old sets, I also had the big goal of getting to his level one day.

Ingo will have to judge whether I managed it or not when we see each other again in the next life!

I will enjoy this set very often in these lifetimes and think of you.

RIP my friend 😢
