This tune is up there for me as Top 10 of 2014. The label MURK is so iconic, and was always way ahead of it's time for house music. The 1st two house records I ever bought on vinyl, were both MURK records - "Believe" & "Some Loving". Legendary East Coast DJ Dale Charles sold me these two gems at Boston Beat way back in 1994. I still have them both. In any case, MURK is basically the SHIT, so when I got this promo in my inbox i was soooo stoked. (Shout out to Lazaro Casanova for hooking me up!) As soon as I heard Danny Daze's dub i knew this was gonna sound so ill pitched down. As per usual when I go to make an edit, I end up adding a ton of percussion and effects, but who wouldn't with a tune called "Addicted to Drums" ?? I've been playing this edit all year long at festivals and it kills every time. Hope you will get the same reaction on your dance floors!!
