Welcome to Tukuni, the Urgent Action Fund Asia & Pacific Radio, where we share stories of women, transgender, and non-binary activists in our regions.

Inspired by the traditions of storytelling and listening in the Pacific and Asia, this series aims to preserve the histories, stories, and memories of defenders across feminist movements.  
These accounts span our diverse landscapes and cultures. They chronicle the struggles of people who are deeply committed to the ongoing fight for human rights and dignity. But, they are also complex and challenging narratives, often without easy resolutions.

We present to you these stories. In the tradition of our storytellers, we say “Tukuni”. It is a call that asks: Are you ready to listen? To understand? To bear witness?
