I want to throw a big shout out to all of those who helped with this record, bumped the singles, and especially Speaker Bumps Records for the cassettes.

While "Simianulation" is largely a handful of tracks I've been working on with no real narrative through-line and vastly different sounds, I still consider it to be a giant blend of songs that work well in tandem with each other. The "bangers" (so-to-speak) lead you to the final two tracks that connect several of the previous ones together: the love of all music & primate conservation. My procrastination and desire to make art more has vastly limited the amount of time I spend working on music, but I know at the end of the day it all connects and represents "me", no matter how much time I dedicate to any of my interests in comparison to one another. Many people are aware that my eventual goal with my art is to steer it toward focusing on primate conservation and having profits go toward helping keep monkey species alive and thriving. Please allow me to hop on my soapbox to give one message to anyone reading:

Most primate species are currently endangered or at risk of being endangered due to deforestation, climate change, and the illegal wildlife pet trade. Many of these primates end up here in Texas as pets and lab subjects. When these monkeys become too old/aggressive due to their maturity, they end up at sanctuaries that desperately need funding to give their primates a better, more natural life. Please consider donating to your nearest primate sanctuary, if you are in Texas I recommend "Primarily Primates" in San Antonio.
