Dynamic duo Ubblahkan forge solid house music, shot through deep veins of techno and disco. Following up their debut EP Diamonds, the Belfast boys are back with a scintillating release of original disco tinged, deep house music.

Muffle Shuffle, the electrifying new EP by Gary Quinn and Dale Hooks of Ubblahkan showcases the mesmerising vocals of the talented, once X-Factor star, Roberta Howett. Roberta's enchanting vocals provide the perfect complement to Ubblahkan's masterfully crafted 'Sun In My Sky' and features again on the excellent club focussed remix by Pangaea Disco boss Theon Bower.

Effortlessly weaving together elements of various electronic subgenres, lead track Muffle Shuffle showcases Ubblahkan's versatility and unique sound. Driving, punchy and emotive dance music is the name of the game and this is amplified on Crowd Control's remix. Bringing a touch of Detroit House to his remix, the Happiness Therapy label head and Lyon native stylishly reworks Muffle Shuffle adding lo-fi breaks and bouncing beats.

Exploring darker, deeper and even the soulful side of electronic music, Ubblahkan's sound bridges the gap between house, disco and techno and has received support from the likes of Danny Krivit, Dr Packer, Maya Jane Coles, Danny Tenaglia, Seamus Haji.

This is an unreleased remix that we did of Hummingbird, for our good friend Richie Blacker. The Mess Express EP got released on Sasha's Last Night on Earth label, and we strongly suggest you checkout the whole EP if you haven't already.

For this remix we tried to stay close to the original version, which took us slightly away from our normal sound. All that said, we still think it's a whopper and we hope you enjoy it too.

Since 2019’s Foundation EP release broke through, Ubblahkan have been steadily building on that success and this looks set to continue in 2022.
