This week brought so many future beats that just smothered me with inspiration. Shout out to towkio for coming out to The Regent with the Soulection crew at The Regent in downtown LA; killer remix by oshi in the list. A couple of Brasstracks jamz on there with the smooth jazzy feel which they do best. Reappearances by some artists who I've been really feeling lately: Alexander Lewis, loosid remixing Galantis, KRNE, krs., Stelouse, VOLO.

Soulection's JLouis is part of a LA crew, Babble, they feature a hot track repping the 110 fwy. There's even a new remix by Wave Racer with some chill-trap feels

Last on the list is an episode of Future Beats Radio. If you haven't checked out Future Beats, hosted by DJ Complexion, you've been missing out. Peep his show, he always has great tracks and is carrying forward a large piece of the music puzzle with him.

Reminiscent nostalgia springs to mind when we listen to ‘Distant Memories’, a seamless expression of old-school jazz roots & new age production.
Almost a dozen layers of trumpet are layered upon each other, accompanied by a minimal drum beat & flowing chord changes to create a short yet succinct piece that requires repeat listening on the regular. 
The track is a collaborative piece between BrassTracks, a Brooklyn based trumpeter /producer / drummer duo & Alexander Lewis, Multi instrumentalist / producer recently graduated from Manhattan School of Music Jazz Program. 
We’re delighted to give this one away for free as an early xmas present ! Heres hoping this isn’t the last link up between these guys.
