The Aquatic People returns to Paille Records with a stunning three-tracker. 'A Dancer's Guide' brings forward a driving rhythm alongside soulful keys and synths licks underlining swanky vocal chops. The result is a cut with a whole lot of swing.
'Black Note Rhythm' is a classic from the get-go. Straight drums, movement-inducing percussion, and spacey pads are all takes for a beautiful dance floor warm-up. on the flip side, The Aquatic People provides an extended rework of 'Black Note Rhythm'. Harder drums, a steady groove, and soulful vocal chops turn this gem into a versatile dance floor track.

We couldn’t resist to release this soulful boogie disco house joint GOLDEN GIRLS from Tigerskin & Jack Jenson featuring vocals from south african rising star Lazarusman.

The both producers about their session: „We were looking  for inspiration by listening to various bassline stems freshly recorded the week before. And we checked the secret studio archive which includes the recordings of almost 30 years of Tigerskins work. Looking for hidden treasures in hundreds of recordings we stumbled across a simple and unreleased drum arrangement.

Just for fun we added one of our basslines to it and recorded a bunch of melodies with some of the old Moogs. You know you're working on 'one of those songs' when each member delivers exactly the ingredient that the others were thinking of when working on their part. When Lazarusman sent the vocals and as we listened the first time to the demo version of what would become ‚Golden Girls' we both looked at each other and agreed that this might be our best work so far.“

The night was fast approaching as the car travelled quickly down the freeway with the lights of the big city glimmering behind. Sirens roared as the police chased and followed with chaotic rage, they were furious. How on earth could he have ever gotten away with it? Many had tried and failed to rob the bank but he had pulled it off with staggering ease. Tyres screeched as they rallied fast into the sunset, a pale dusty pink sky hung thick overhead as if offering a sombre tone to reflect the mood of the heated chase. It was hot and wild that night, a sunset drive with a hectic pace. 

Böhm is set to release a new EP on Echocentric Records, a happy go lucky dancefloor affair which is bound to delight and move many. Four tracks which feature beautiful arpeggios, rumbling acid and a distinct flair.
