Slowmode, also known as Sasha, is a Ukrainian musician and DJ from the eastern part of the country. He is a resident of the Belarusian label @mastakrecords and has been based in Warsaw for more than two years. Sasha has experience working with a wide range of musical genres, but his favorite is techno. In his mixes, he skillfully combines different styles to create smooth and seamless transitions.

'Dear listener, you have before you a dark techno set. The selection was compiled based on purchases and hours of listening at the Warsaw Vvosk Records store, whose staff I extend my warmest regards to. The set is, of course, Vinyl Only. Ahead of you is an hour-long journey through melancholic emotional states. I recommend listening, especially for an evening chillout'.

I'm De Zwartrijder—in Dutch, it means black rider, but also, funnily enough, stowaway. The nickname comes from my two passions: motorcycles and vinyl records, as well as my Dutch roots. Currently, I exclusively play vinyl. And the records in my collection can vary widely—from hypnotic and dark techno, through classic trance, to hard trance. My goal is to continue collecting rare releases, supporting small labels, and sharing interesting music with others.

BIO: 
🎧 DJ Ubiki is a proud member of Warsaw’s  Electric Pimps Crew. His journey with the sound of vinyl began over two decades ago — and just like life itself, it’s been a wild and twisted ride.

🔈 He’s the creator behind the "Ubiki Vinyl Series" podcast, available on SoundCloud, Mixcloud, and YouTube. His musical triptychs — Last Summer Dance, Welcome to Oko* and Techno Dancing — showcase his eclectic taste and deep love for groove. He also hosts Czarne Złoto on The Blue Oyster TV.

⚡ Together with the Electric Pimps Crew, he’s been spinning — sometimes spontaneously — at venues like Transformator, Zoo Market, PiwPaw, Oko w Oko, Poziomy, Plażówka Saska, Techno Kultura, Nowy Berlin, and on air in 12"/h on Czwórka Polskie Radio. He’s also dropped beats three times at The Blue Oyster and supported acts like Ten Walls and PIUR.

🚀 A true believer in the vinyl renaissance — he grew up on wax — but he’s not stuck in the past. He embraces the digital evolution and uses it to push boundaries in sound.

💥 His life motto?  There’s always time to listen to Orbital, Marley, and Fugees.
