Erik Jabari is a DJ and producer, raised in Berlin and Wuppertal.
As a child, he was already surrounded by reggae, dubstep and early techno. This paved his way to learning classical music theory and clarinet, but finding more interest in jazz than classical music.
Inspired by the possibilities of making whole tracks with more than just one instrument, he began producing hip hop and electronic dance music. As an employee at Hard Wax, the Berlin record store institution, he has continuously shaped his sound over the last few years.
His music is techno centered with influences from house, dubstep, UKG and drum n bass. In his productions you can feel his appreciation of the origins of electronic music, which helped him to find his own modern sound.

His DJ sets are techno-centered, driving and powerful, but also subtle and elegant.

The fourteenth episode of our podcast series welcomes Paris-based DJ Maemm, co-founder of the collective "La Taquinerie" and a resident DJ at the Parisian club La Gare, Le Gore on Thursdays, with a 60-minute studio recorded mix.

Maemm shapes her sets with various atmospheres, aiming to create immersive journeys rooted in narrative.
Influenced by a hypnotic techno style with sometimes psychedelic overtones, she also draws inspiration from ambient music and more experimental genres. Her passion for exploring new sounds allows her to enrich her musical universe and remain in constant evolution. 
She has shared the stage with renowned artists such as DJ Nobu, GiGi FM, Zadig, or Kerrie and has recently performed at legendary Berghain.

The name behind the first anonymous Scordisci podcast is Zac Walls.

Zac is not only a gifted artist but also a core member of Scordisci. We were genuinely mesmerised when we first discovered his sound - textural, atmospheric, and deeply intentional.

Now based in London after growing up in Eora Sydney, Zac brings a unique perspective to his selections. Part storyteller, part sound sculptor.

It’s a true pleasure to have him with us, both behind the decks and within the collective.

Plasma Disco was the alias my friend Alfred (aka Timpleton) and I used when we played and made music together. We got the name from one of our favorite tracks, Samuli Kemppi – Plasma Disco. This mix includes some of our demos as Plasma Disco, as well as unreleased music from Alfred’s unreleased album - Geology That I found on a lost hard drive as well as music we played during our era and tracks that I found later on that I want to play for Alfred.
