Careening through a wide spectrum of styles and artist, her mix gives on expressionistic take on the turning of the old year pregnant with visions of the one to come.
Voluminous Arts is a record label dedicated to Trans artists experimenting with electronic music and sound at the intersection of experimental forms and the dance floor. Founded by Gavilán Rayna Russom.

Recorded during the great pandemic crossing of 2020 - 2021, "Istmo", Sal Grosso's third record, retains the naive spirit of his previous works: there are 9 tracks of free structure that constitute as many soundscapes made of sugary melodies and undulating synthesizers - always captured on the first take. The record thus walks in such disparate - but close - territories as Ellen Fullman's drones, Lyra Pramuk's experimentations, Steve Hauschildt's psychedelic ambient, or the atmospheric jazz of Supersilent or The Necks. Make no mistake - this is a powerful, heartfelt record that perfectly illustrates the remarkable musical growth of Sal Grosso over the last couple of years.

Although the music was recorded and composed at home and in solitary mode by Sal Grosso, "Istmo" was finished at the nostalgic Quarto Escuro (Porto) with the precious help of Ricardo Cabral and José Miguel Silva (who had already been involved in the previous albums) in the production, mixing and mastering.

In the project UCC Harlo, Annie Garlid stages sonic communions between the old and the new, contemplates contemporary relationships to the natural world, and casts music as mood. A classically-trained viola player and singer, she reworks her own performances of medieval, Renaissance, and baroque music or begins from scratch, infiltrating hauntological ambience with liturgical choral riffs, off-the-cuff recordings, and fur-soft ASMR vocals. All of these elements comb the territories between doubt and wonder.
