The December edition of The Witching Hour, and our final show on AAJA radio, we welcome special guests Lost Signal to take on the theme of Dystopian Futures.

A future of bleakness, frustration, or hope? We face a certain future of technological advancements, although predicted an uncertain future in others.  A cyber-world governed by potent powers that continues to suppress the people, what sounds of the future will depict our expressions? A revolution you say? Expect powerful emotions through chuggy beats that resonate with sounds of the future. A theme of spaciness powered by machines paint the picture of a dystopian digital world. 

The 2 hours consists of 3 takes on the dystopian vision, with Dan Newman taking the controls for the first 30, before Mason takes it into darker realms for the next, before setting the scene for an hour guest mix from Bristol-based fellow Welshies Lost Signal, an established duo of party starters and selectors. A fully vinyl mix of spacey pickings in this one. Crank it up and stay tuned.

Dan has had his productions played on the likes of Radio 1, Rinse FM & Circoloco Radio, and was picked as 'One To Watch for 2021' by Jaguar on her BBC Radio 1 Introducing Show. His most recent release on the legendary Hooj Choons seen a remix of ‘Hold It Down’ by Joshua James and the EP has been supported by notable DJs such as Kamma & Masalo, Amaliah & Jaguar.
