They take the title track in a mystique and mysterious direction and instantly show why they are one of the hot names to watch at the moment. Not that they have to prove themselves anymore; their releases on Lost & Found, Rebellion de Träumer, Nie Wieder Schlafen and Magician on Duty pretty much speak for themselves.

Maricha - Channeling (Original Mix) [SIRIN057]

Sabo’s record label Sol Selectas drops an enchanting Afro house EP by ARKADYAN, which also features remixes by Safar (FR) and Manoo.

ARKADYAN are a talented trio who have previously featured their tribal rhythms and ancestral instruments on other imprints ranging from Cosmic Awakenings to Madorasindahouse Records, and their music has been popular with DJs such as Black Coffee, Bedouin, Satori, Blond:ish and many others of equal note.

Safar (FR) is a French artist who recently debuted on Sol Selectas with a track on the label’s Summer Sol VII compilation with a scorching hot vibe, and this remix once again shows off his talents.

Manoo is from the city of Lyon in France and he is well-known for his productions on Innervisions, Compost and Classic Music Company. His style is a jazzy blend with deep atmosphere and groovy basslines.

“Tulila” is the solo original on the release and it features the vocals of Moroccan artist Radouan Naim who also played the guembri instrument that’s used in the track. The lyrics are sung in the Berber language and are accompanied by tense pads, vibrant percussion and dramatic chords.

Safar (FR) provides a refined remix that’s true to the original with its chopped-up vocals and flowing tribal rhythms that are both crisp and hypnotic.

Closing out the release is the remix by Manoo that adds a new bassline with extra energy while also drawing attention to the percussion to focus on the tribal rhythms of the congas and other percussion.

The artwork by Helia Jamali depicts the golden spiral of life & the harmonic dance of the universe.

Curol is considered one of the main names in the rise of electronic music and has a
fundamental role as a bold and energetic figure in the process of female revolution in
the market.
Avant-garde, the artist has become an Afro House reference, rescuing her own
ancestry through the insertion of organic elements incorporated into House, with
Brazilian percussions full of groove and dancing rhythm.
She won the WME Awards in the Best DJ category in 2021, in addition to being part
of the select list of the 60 women and POC (people of color) artists of the 1001
Tracklists, 'The Future Of Dance' and is one of the artists confirmed for Rock in Rio
2022.

'Take Away is an Israeli label that has a deep and stripped back sound fusing melodic elements with techy grooves, and the new release is a special package containing new remix versions of Eduardo De La Calle’s track “The Stand” featuring the vocals of Joolz.

The original version was released on Take Away as part of a three track EP at the end of 2017, and the new remixes have been provided by UNER, Marvin & Guy, KMLN, Soulfeed and ORBE.

Eduardo De La Calle is a popular artist with a back catalogue that includes releases on other labels such as Cocoon, Mule Musiq, Planet E Communications plus many more, and the popularity of “The Stand” original mix is what prompted the label to compile this incredible collection of reworks.

Each of the artists has put their own stamp on things with UNER being first up in the track order. UNER is known for his melodic style released via labels such as Last Night On Earth, Suara and Bedrock. With this remix he has stayed true to the original’s stripped back groove, but lifts the mood with his own melody and additional percussive textures.

Italian duo Marvin & Guy keep the original’s atmosphere but their epic remix adds dreamy synths and ethereal textures that complement the prominent lead vocal. Fans of Marvin & Guy’s previous output on Life And Death, Correspondent and Kompakt will not de disappointed with their latest offering here.

Soulfeed return to Take Away following their recent EP on the label and have also featured on imprints such as Nite Grooves, plus MBF. Manipulating the pitch of the vocal their trippy version focuses on percussive grooves and an eerie atmosphere.

Regulars on labels such as Sol Selectas and Bar 25 Music, the KMLN duo also focus on percussion and build their own melodic groove complete with new pads. Keeping the vocal as a key feature here, this eloquent rework is both stylish and chic with a laidback vibe.

Finishing the release is a techno focused remix from ORBE who has previously featured music on Be As One, Hivern Discs and Analog Solutions. Warm analogue sounds and mechanical percussion combined with a touch of acid, his abstract remix is the toughest piece on this magnificent release.'
