This Is Life (Past & Present Pt. 2)

This is the 3rd and final song to my daughter Calissa. At age 17yrs old she was going through a difficult time finding herself along with juggling a troubling relationship. So I would always Listen to what was happening in Her life. I was always known to write "My Life" diaries of what crazy shit I did... or what I'm currently going through... so I decided to talk about the things SHE was going through at that age, and share Her story. Honestly, This has to be is 1 of the Greatest Songs I wrote.  Because I'm actually Writing someone else's story besides mine, and it was Dead-On writing about the events that were taking place at the time.  Oh and PLUS I was a proud Father for giving advice through a song.....cuz let's face it....not ALL dads can do that. LOL  -Team Urban
