This suite is a sonic manifesto of uncontainable worth, delivered in Hip Hop cadence with Jazz phrasing and Soulful breath. It rejects imposed metrics — financial, linguistic, colonial — and reclaims movement as resistance.
The speaker moves through brackets not built for them — economic, social, symbolic — refusing to be priced, mapped, or decoded.
Verse 1 bends syntax and flow, declaring a rise that’s nonlinear, unclean, and coded in what’s unseen.
The hook flips the schematic: rhythm breaks static, cipher cracks habits, truth refuses to fit.
Verse 2 exposes exclusion — wealth in borrowed skin, truth locked out — but the speaker reclaims space with legacy bars and unmapped ascent.
Verse 3 confronts colonial ladders and imposed dialects, asserting a proud, loud, off-grid rhythm.

The sweet sixteenth instalment in the Dubplate series sees regular contributors Beatsy Collins and Bopperson deliver two firing, dance floor friendly re-works of a couple of classics from the great man that is Bobby McFerrin. 

Beatsy Collins' re-work of Thinking About Your Body has been knocking around on mp3 for some time now, and has been a mainstay of sets from a small selection of London's finest underground DJs. It's a low slung affair, complete with a frenzy of filters and beats to move your feet. 

On the flip, McFerrin's cover of the Lennon & McCartney favourite, From Me To You, is completely re-imagined by young Bopperson, giving it a foot friendly percussive shakedown, whilst adding some serious, face melting bass.
