We’re hitting the ground running on this next one as Toolroom welcomes mysterious UK duo Wh0 & Brighton powerhouse Kideko for their main label release. Teaming up together on ‘Soul Searcher’, Wh0 & Kideko bring a fresh touch to the label with a sound that skirts the world of 2000’s Daft Punk French House vibe but with a more refined edge. 
 
Wh0 have released on Toolroom and the sub label Toolroom Trax previously, with the killer ‘Real Good’ & Dombresky collab ‘Take Me Away’, Kideko on the other hand makes his Toolroom debut. An established name in the scene already, Kideko has released cuts on Ministry of Sound, Stress Records, Realm and many more, collaborating with artists such as Friend Within, Armand Van Helden and Kudu Blue to name a few. 
 
Although we might not really know who Wh0 are, given the result of this record, it’s clear to see that the duo are a perfect match for a collab with Kideko. Together, they have dropped a full blown, feel-good House production. From the get-go, ‘Soul Searcher’ hooks you in with its incredible use of the 1976 classic D.C Larue ‘Cathedrals’ sample layered with tough drums and plenty of weight to keep those dance floors moving. 
There are some awesome brass hits that swirl around the filtered-out rising piano chords and a killer vocal ‘Don’t stop the music now it’s deep inside my soul’. Safe to say Kideko & Wh0 have absolutely smashed this!

File Under Disco is a specialist imprint set up in 2012 by Dicky Trisco to release original Disco inspired music. The label features artists from around the globe such as JKriv, Danielle Baldelli, DJ Rocca, Drop Out Orchestra, Vagabundo Club Social and Future Feelings, with remixes from the likes of Ray Mang, Hot Toddy, Idjut Boys, Pete Herbert, Faze Action, Dr Packer, Frank Booker and the label head himself. Next up on File Under Disco, we welcome you to the modern Brazilian disco world of Processman & Cady who together bring a pair of South American beauties in the form of Adupé & Sou Baiana. With remixes provided by JKriv, Jutro Mundo, and Dicky Trisco.

DJ and producer Processman hails from Salvador, Bahia. A passionate and talented musician, who has played in various bands in his home city, a city famed the birth of legendary artists and as such, his heroes, Gilberto Gil, 
João Gilberto and Jorge Amado. Processman was introduced to Cady, a fellow Baiana and fine solo artist in her own right, by a mutual friend. The connection was instant, and they started making music that very day. 

Fast forward to when Dicky Trisco was passing through Salvador after playing the Mareh festival in Bahia. Processman drove Dicky and a group of friends to local hot spot in Pelourinho, and the first track he played in the car that night was ‘Adupé’. Dicky was blown-away by the track, it’s brilliant Brazilian percussion, the beautiful, layered vocal, the spiritual, boogie-laden vibes and delightful melodies, he was hooked! The second track Processman played was ‘Sou Baiana’. A record deal was already a sure thing, and they hadn’t even made it to the bar!

A year later and the release is ready to let loose its magical, spiritual, boogie vibe. NYC Brazilian aficionado Jkriv - the perfect choice for remixer for this sound - has delivered a truly essential, cosmic disco dub of ‘Adupé’. 
Dicky Trisco takes on ‘Sou Baiana’ , stripping it down and pumping it up into a rocking dance floor bomb. Finally, Rio’s Joutro Mundo pushes the original of ‘Adupé’ into a deeper, downtempo lush rework that’ll make those Carioca beach bars and kiosks groove at sunset. Further digital versions include Dicky no-nonsense, dance floor focused ‘Ruff Dub’ of ‘Adupé’ and Processman’s ‘Disco Mix’ which draws on more French Disco influences. File this all under Modern Brazilian Disco and let’s vamos!
