Nicolas Vogler’s fascination for music stretches back far into his childhood. Born and raised in Londrina, southern Brazil, his musical journey first manifested itself in an admiration for punk and rock n’ roll, which inspired him in his early years to learn guitar. 

As a teenager, he discovered electronic music through underground parties, nurturing a passion for techno that has only grown over the years.
Inspired by the dirty rawness of old school techno and the hypnotic vibes of more contemporary tracks, Nicolas Vogler decided to pursue his newfound passion by DJing at small events in his hometown. Today, he is a producer, gaining renown through his own personal label NCLS as well as through recent releases on groove-focused techno labels such as Syxt Berlin, Drawner records, Malör Records, ESP Collective, Hemisferio Barcelona and Secession. 

Played by techno DJs worldwide, Nicolas’ tracks can be found in mixes by notable artists such as Setaoc Mass, Ben Sims, Arkan, Norman Nodge, Insolate, Temudo and many others.

Continuing the series of reissues from the Tresor catalogue, Tresor Records announces an updated version of the classic Regis and Female long-player, Againstnature.

Originally released in the year 2000, the album represents a pivotal moment in the emergence of the “Birmingham Sound”; a stripped-back sub-genre of Techno, pioneered around this time in the English hub by artists such as Regis, Female, and Surgeon.

Influenced more by Industrial, Music Concrete, and EBM than from the melodic sounds of its Detroit predecessor, Regis later described the music as being made with a fractured pop sensibility which created a sound that may be faceless but by design loses none of the soul of its American counterpart.

Nowhere is this sonic changing of the guard more apparent than in opening track, Washing My Hands, which sets the stage with a vignette of field recordings: arc welders, water boilers and other sounds reminiscent of industrial workshops reframe your senses, placing your mind into a familiar yet unsettling dreamlike space. From this soundscape emerges a high-pitched, vitreous noise heralding the jarring introduction of Let Them Bleed, the first of several trance-inducing tracks on the album such as Join Us In Paradise, and Guiltless, which layer percussive and sampled loops creating what Peter Sutton (aka Female) described as exotic hypnotics.

This remastered edition of Againstnature also features the additional track, Theme From Streetwalker, previously only available on Volume 6 of the Tresor Compilation series. Collected together the album is a key work in the progression of this sub-genre to the dominant form of Techno heard in clubs in Berlin and around the world today.

Through the black storm, a fairy with big coloured wings arises, helping to spread the light of electronic, energetic and psychedelic groove. Her sounds are aimed to disconnect the listener from "reality", being present of sensations.
Tries to make outcasts feel understood with the mission to elicit an introspective experience in the listener.
The hope of taking listeners on a journey of emotion and fantasy through mixes full of different sounds. Loaded with emotion, delirium and above all open perception, so that one can express themselves however they want.

Uma Scheffer Jones (98) es una dj productora nacida en la patagonia argentina. Actualmente vive en la ciudad de Córdoba y es residente del Colectivo/ Label Terra Furia.

 Su búsqueda musical consiste en el sonido profesional y homogéneo siempre manteniendo un paso firme en su carrera, desde pequeñas fiestas y clubes a grandes festivales.

 Anteriormente compartió cabina con artistas internacionales como Tommy 47, Rebekah, Anfisa Letyago, Nastia, Julian Jeweil, Fjaak, Matrixxman entre otros artistas nacionales muy conocidos.

 Siempre identificada con el género techno, desde el acid hasta el groove, de lo contemporáneo a lo arcaico.
Uma tiene la capacidad de sumergir a los ravers en paisajes profundos e hipnóticos, con una estilo de mezcla contundente. 

 Girando por todo el territorio nacional, también ha tocado en distintos clubes de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Tucumán, Salta, Mendoza, Neuquén, Santa Fe y por su puesto su querida Patagonia.

 Durante la pandemia, en 2020 lanzó su primer Ep “Scorpion” por Xelima Récords y luego “Sombra” por DZB Récords con un remix de su amigo y colega Franco Rossi. 

Lanzó su primer álbum en 2021 “How Deep” el cual consta de 7 tracks y en la actualidad se encuentra trabajando en un nuevo Ep y en algunas collabs.

 Uma has the ability to immerse ravers in deep and hypnotic landscapes, with a forceful mix style.
 
Touring throughout the national territory, he has also played in different clubs in the province of Buenos Aires, Tucumán, Salta, Mendoza, Neuquén, Santa Fe and of course his beloved Patagonia.
