These four songs where recorded at Music Crossroads Malawi in Lilongwe, made by four bands formed at Malawi Music Project 2016. These powerful songs are themed around gender equality, education and HIV/AIDS.

The Malawi Music Project is an annual collaborative program between Peace Corps Malawi and Music Crossroads Malawi that gives children from all over Malawi a chance to learn in a creative environment about music and the risk of HIV/AIDS. Our mission is to create an environment where critical thinking and learning are encouraged to help children in Malawi learn about music.

This is a collaborative single between O'ta and Paris Oaks entitled "Mundimasule" (Release Me), released  first on Malawi-music.net where it reached 100.000 plays in the first week of its release.

Mundimasule (Release Me)

This is a single from Clifford Msiska's debut album Uchindami (Glory), produced and released in 2017 by Ujeni Records.

Clifford Msiska is a Malawian gospel musician from Livingstonia, Malawi, who plays and builds his own banjos and writes his music in the two languages Chitumbuka and Chichewa. This song was written in collaboration with other young musicians at the music camp Malawi Music Project; a week-long music camp arranged by Music Crossroads Malawi and the American Peace Corpse. The song addresses the topic of HIV/AIDS and that the youth and the parents need to work together to overcome this disease.
