A selection from our (rather formal) gig in Feb 2012 for the Gampola Orphanage Charity.  As it's just an unbalanced L/R output straight from the desk, the balance isn't perfect, but it does capture the band, its enthusiasm and the occasion.

UJ&SB is a community band based at and supported by Uppingham Community College. The band grows out of a 15-year tradition of swing, jazz and rock music at the college, with members ranging in age from 13 to 70+. Great vocalists, a rock 'n' roll rhythm section and a big brass sound: these elements combine to make the exciting music of the UJ&SB!

The band's open to anyone who wants to have fun making music. We don't have auditions, so just come along and help us to conjure some of that 'Jools Holland magic' - jazz, blues and soul played by a big band that can both rock and swing.
