Appears that the care home system should be renamed the Culling System.

MY MUM WA LO PRSCUTD IN HER LAST YEAR. I BELIEVE SHE WAS MURDERED THOUGH SHE WAS DYING ANYWAY.

I am a relative of someone with dementia, but also founder of national campaign Your Voice Matters, based in the south west.  My relative was failed by the care home system for 8 years.  5 care homes, 2 counties.  She died March 2017 in a care home that continues to remain in Special Measures.  I began reporting this home in 2014, only a month after she has moved in and was admitted to Torquay Hospital dehydrated.  Jan 2015 it was rated Requires Improvement.  I carried on reporting and in 2016 the home was placed in Special Measures, failing to meet peoples' fluid and dietary needs.  My relative's hospital dietician letter stated this was certainly happening in her case.  Feb 2016 admitted again, dehydrated. She nearly died. In fact we were told this was the end. No it was not, but it would of been if we had not taken charge. The question over cause of death is one that alarms me, how many people recorded as dying of 'Dementia'. This experience has opened my eyes even more.

CORRUPT   THERE IS NO CARE   we piss in the wind.  ..I COULD WRITE A BOOK! but  EVERYTHING FALLS ON DEAF EARS ...

I have seen very poor standards of care homes, for family members and friends.. poor food, bad staff etc.. My gran has been in 4 homes, had her pelvis broken in an assault.. The Care system is broken
