It goes without saying that lockdown was a testing time for everyone – especially those in dance music. On many occasions, motivation was lost, inspiration ran dry and tension peaked at an all-time high. But one thing we could always rely on was the collective love our scene has for the music. Just look at the passion on display with the return of events! It’s a sentiment DJ Marky’s upcoming single “Love Will Find Its Way” is built around. Landing on Shogun Audio September 17th, the track sees Marky team up with Manchester-based lyricist EVABEE to create a heartfelt summer number fitting of the emotions many have been experiencing. Written during the early stages of the pandemic when the world was brought to a halt, Evabee’s lyrics serve as reminder that love will always find its way back to us eventually, no matter what obstacles are placed in the way.

The release follows on from Marky’s last outing on Shogun in 2020 where he collaborated with Pola & Bryson on their Run the Streets EP. We don’t know how long we’re going to have events back for, but what we do know is “Love Will Find Its Way” is a message all of us can find comfort in during these uncertain times.
