I was lucky to be invited to perform at The Womp Summer Party in Evansburg, Alberta in August and was absolutely thrilled to have the privilege of joining the drum and bass line up this year. It's been a hot minute since this DNB Girl ripped a full DNB set at festival. At least a few years! With that said, I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I did playing it live! Massive thanks to Frank and Adriana of Monkey Twerk for inviting my Husband, Robbie C (4:44) and I to shake our tail feathers with them. The whole Womp team did a fantastic job, even despite the literal hurricane of destruction that passed through Saturday night. I swear, ravers are the most resilient people in the name of a collective good time. Big Love Fam! <3

Ninjette - Live @ The Womp 2022 Drum and Bass Mix

Kicking the year off Taelimb has dropped us an exclusive mix absolutley FULL of fresh rolling Drum and Bass bangers!!!

TAELIMB was born and bred in the heart of South London’s creative melting pot. The rising producer spent his teenage years hanging out at Stockwell skate board park, graffing walls and making beats with mates. 

Early favourites, such as Ed Rush, Optical, Teebee and Cause For Concern drew him into Drum and Bass production. Taelimb, then still underground and yet to be named, spent years buried in his music; he built up his knowledge of music production and moved deeper into the London Club scene. 

8 years later and he has transformed from amateur, to becoming one of the listed ‘ones to watch,’ recognised for his unique take on the D&B and Dubstep movement. 

Why? Maybe it’s his complex compositions. Tracks like ‘Depth charge’ show intricate harmonies, resonated over layered samples and then styled to atmospheric depths. Never one to follow the crowd, Taelimb’s gritty urban surroundings fly across his tracks. His experimental sound have rapidly become signatures, stamped and printed across his beats.

Last week's Sunday marked the end of the Month, which means we were having over a member of the Flux/x community again for their Mix/xed by Flux/x show.

And for this episode, Leiden based techy dnb connoisseur Flexusz took the lead in hosting the live stream. She did not step into the booth on her own though, because she invited Amsterdam based DJ Marise van Noordenne, aka: MΛN!

MΛN is making waves in recent years playing the more dark and "obscure" kind of drum and bass and jungle flavours for a variety of events and platforms like DNBRADIO.com, Inversion, Curated By, Goat Shed, Vortex, Tribe and many more.

Flexusz: 'MΛN has been one of my favourite dj's for a while now so it only made sense to invite her!'
