Cid Rim vs. The Clonious, both willing to step up their game.

This merciless battle starts with Cid´s side and the Opener "Jerome". Cid Rim fields a failed racing driver who constantly battles his own mind but still is keeping it funky enough to be a quite adorable dude. When monumental chords are paired with a haunting hook, you´re right in the middle of the "Chop Suey Cide Step". Its sharp edges and tubular harmonies make way for a pyschedelic jab that goes by the name of “Bear Hug Love” - the final knockout!

In the other corner: The Clonious tag-teams up with tremendous Detroit Vocalist Paul Randolph on "Truth" which souds like it could be played in a Detroit based gospel church in the next couple of centuries. Followed by a fearless jump: "Earringer" - the name is the game! 140 BPM are whipping a couple of Clonious’ wrestling buddies on a horse-race track until they give up their ghosts. Don´t think you have reached the comfort zone when you listen to "Paul´s Suite" giving you an inside into his world of obsessive perfectionism.

Cid Rim vs. The Clonious - Full Nelson EP [12" Teaser]

In Hour 2 DJ Food takes up the 25th Anniversary slot with volume 8 of his Kraftwerk Kover Kollections in time to celebrate the band playing 8 nights at the Tate Modern in London. These mixes have become a regular feature on the show over the years, unearthing incredible and bizarre cover versions of Kraftwerk tracks. A Bollywood version of The Man Machine, The Model played on church bells, sung by a choir and covered by comedian Adrian Edmondson are just some of the treats along with jazz, piano and acoustic versions of their classics and a couple of comedy skits commenting on the ticket meltdowns surrounding the band's shows.

The UKO brothers Martin and Jürgen Nußbaum have been working in the electronic field of music for over a decade now.
From their debut the variety of influences has been kept high – Funk meets Dub, Electronic meets Soul – Digital meets Analog.
The relationship between picture and sound, in differently nuanced grades of fusion, forms the central nexus of their work and is omnipresent in various projects.
