BossaDova is a 22 minute experience that captures the essence of Chicago's meticulously cultivated beat scene. Taking an avant-garde approach to an instrumental tape BossaDova encompasses commentary from artists Nico Trumpet, Michael Anthony, and Vic Spencer. Both the live instrumentation of Ben Hickerson, contributions from DJ Mar and touches of THEMpeople's signature Soul-Fi elements make BossaDova sonically captivating.
Seamless, colorful, and intoxicating, BossaDova transcends the conventional ideology of what a beat tape should sound like.
