Inspired by the poetry of the 1920s Yiddish avant-garde — namely the Khalyastre group: Uri Zvi Greenberg, Peretz Markish, Melekh Ravitch, and others featured in their first almanac, published in Warsaw in 1922. This first single is based on The Khalyastre group manifesto by Moishe Broderzon.

Tsi Di Shtern (feat. Choshech)

Founded in 1999, Ulican derives its name from a word found in an Irish folktale meaning a funeral cry or lamentation, which perfectly describes the band's solemn and dark musical journey. Its music blends electronic, trip-hop, and post-punk influences from Portishead to Bauhaus. After a two-decade hiatus, Ulican returned in 2023, merging goth and electronica with mysticism, marking a new chapter.
