The mundane nature of transformation often hides the enchantment, the beauty, the fright, the fears that live in the process of change. Archaic signs and models of change have been described again and again in different cultures and made accessible to memory in a ritualized form. They refer to man's relationship to nature and culture.
The Chinese, Taoist emblems - wood, water, metal, earth, fire - show significantly the interaction of inner and outer forces to the geometry of space. The music uses the possibilities of the instrument in transition from concrete sounds (wood, metal, air, resonance) to complex compositions that express the essence of the elements.
