Far & Off, a collaborative creation by Vincent Villuis and Mihalis Aikaterinis, known as AES DANA and MIKTEK, has been fully rethought—remastered and graphically redesigned. Originally conceived from the essence of three EPs — Cut. | Alkaline | The Unexpected Hours — this album represents a poignant journey born from a period of extended detachment and isolation.

In today’s world, where life is saturated with incessant information, stimuli, and fragmented time, many feel overwhelmed. Some adjust, some collapse, and others, like the composers, feel the profound need to escape. Far & Off was not a spontaneous reaction but a slow culmination of necessity, not driven by any philosophical, spiritual, or religious belief, but as a natural response to the surrounding frenzy. This album is about seeking solitude, crossing into a different rhythm, and feeling the flow of time.

With Far & Off, the artists share this experience through keys and sounds, pads and patterns, glitches, and drums, aiming to create contrasted tales that highlight life’s paradoxes, from harshness to tranquility.

[ Passages ] is the third compilation by London based DJ, promoter and music journalist Massimo Terranova aka Nova. Following in the footsteps of his previous releases, [ Albedo ] in 2005 and Imaginary Friends in 2009, Nova presents a brand new mix of emo-ambient and electronica to evoke today’s dichotomy in relationships and rites of passage.

Gathering emerging artists and seasoned talents in the realms of pulsating minimal dubs, atmospherica, and downtempo, [ Passages ] offers a rich palette of serial music and soundscapes depicting the London’s urban skyline and a life of mono/poly-chromatic contrasts.

Nova delivers an elegant musical story wrapped in Italian art & fashion photographer Giovanni Calemma’s modish black and white illustrations and featuring James Murray, Fingers in the Noise, Cygna, Brando Lupi, Miktek, Murya, Martin Nonstatic, Lars Leonhard, AES Dana, Connect.Ohm, Max Million and Zinovia.

Created at the end of the 90’s by Vincent Villuis and Sandrine Gryson respectively known as AES Dana and Mahiane, Ultimae first unfolded as a musical portal to share Ambient and its many facets, as widely as possible, by the production of records, an online shop and the presentation of artists and labels of this, then, emerging scene.

Ultimae has since been developping its activities with sound-design, post-production and mastering studios in Lyon, as well as a taylored publishing, licensing and sync service.
