A duo of rappers with storied pasts on both sides. Though they kept their secrets, even with it all revealed, they remained close friends and partners until the end of the road.

7th - Adventure Machine
DJs with a digital past, they shared many close friendships with the survivors. With them as constant bastions of hope, things seemed possible until they were gone.

6th - Windows Warriors
Controversial figures in the Estate, but beloved ones nonetheless. Despite differences, the Warriors added something irreplaceable to the dynamic of our cast.

5th - The Humanz
While many were disheartened by the disappearances of friends, these three tried to lighten the load by bringing a fun vibe to the Estate. With them gone, things seem much more dull.

When she first encountered the Lost, there was fear. I mean, who wouldn't fear them at first sight? One quite literally chopped off her hand, she's sure she could find the mess that left if she tried. But... It's different now. With all on the line, there's less room for fear. Right now, it's all focus, all instinct. Kill them before they kill you. She knows this long before she brandishes her knife, long before she faces down the monsters hiding the truth.

These were her friends, once upon a time. These were people she cared very much for. Some she hadn't seen for a long time, almost a year at last count, but... Some, she remembers seeing only days earlier.

It hurts seeing this happen.

There were some things science could not solve. He wouldn't say there was much, but there was a bit. And this... this was one of them. Staring down what had once been some of his dearest friends in the Estate, now turned into... whatever these things were. He could not explain this.

Regretfully, violence was the only answer. With a heavy heart, he attacked.

The head of the Squid Research Labs, Hisashi Nogami approaches his upcoming battles with gusto. This curious mind started as a face in the background of the Ultimus Estate, brought to the forefront after the course of the tournament pushed him into taking a more active role. While Nogami may be a bit more passive, his passion for exploration has given him many years of experience. Perhaps this knowledge will be what drives him to success...? Hisashi Nogami vs. The Lost ~ SANITIZATION PROCESS INCOMPLETE

She doesn't know how to fight them. So she doesn't. She hides herself, staying away at all costs, because she knows what they can do to her. She knows exactly what will happen if she's found. And she is found. Over and over again, she meets her end, only to come right back. She doesn't remember it, of course.

The others didn't do it on their first try either, so it's not as if she has something to be ashamed of. Eventually, she manages to wait it out long enough for the others to cycle back to her.

In the end, not a single one of them is left unscarred. All of them will carry this for the rest of time.

Through trials by fire and ice, Shizuku and Firestar have come quite the long way as Animated Musical Vibes. Starting as a mismatched duo thrown together by the powers that be, they've grown to become close friends. Together they stand against the threat of the White Noise, but when bonds can't save you, all that remains is the fight ahead. It'll take all they have and more to survive, but nine lives may just be enough.

Even these two have gotten into their fair share of spats over all this. It hurts, watching someone once so gentle slowly fall into something so... wrong. She never does a lot of the actual combat though, it's always Firestar. I don't remember what got them fighting this time. Was it Firestar deciding to take on a creature he saw as wrong? Was it Thomas, still seeing red after the fight with the Lost? I don't know.

All I know is, another reset is imminent. I wish the Baron would come earlier to them more. It does happen on occasion, but... not enough.

But before the two real fighters arrived, three others had a very unlucky streak. Firestar hissed in Shizuku's grasp as he smelled something very wrong, squirming uncomfortably and then yowling as it got worse. 

Thomas and Shizuku froze as they felt a hand on their shoulders, simply ushering them along. Of course, they recognized the hands, but were too afraid to speak.

"Shh. Do not be afraid. I simply want to show you something wonderful."

The four enter the bear's office. Silence. Then... screaming. Painful, wet screaming.

When the door is kicked down later by the others, hunting down the Baron, the room's walls are painted a sickening red, befitting of the bear's coat.

The fight has been ongoing for quite a while already. Desperation, anger, overwhelming sadness... All mixes together to become a catalyst for the two remaining. And for the first time, the Baron is beginning to falter. Not much, not enough to gain a clear advantage, but something is different.

Not that Lune and Hisashi recognize that. All they see is a murderer. So they keep attacking, blinded by rage.

With the White Noise gone, our fifth arc (World Enough And Time) has concluded. Everyone has returned, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows.

Scars like the ones left by these last years don't fade. The Baron's gone, all the previous management has jumped ship, and though some of the Enforcers still remain... what's the driving force to continue on? With... anything, really?

Welcome to the end of the world. Only five people remain from our previous 28, marking our final four contenders. 

Through the destruction of the Ultimus Estate comes more obscurity, yet clarity all at once. Five people stand against what remains of the Baron, all from different walks of the world. Time and space have eroded to nothing, leaving only carnage in its wake, and only one chance remains to save what's left.

But in the end, is anything worth saving at all?
