Utrecht-based producer Locklead makes his debut appearance on Vatos Locos with three incredible cuts full of energy that will find their home in the rowdiest raves out there. Brawther delivers a hard-hitting remix with a chunky analog vibe. Expect heavy drum grooves, hypnotic synths and an impressive low end as the record spans a vast range of influences from electro, minimal, deep, and straight up dancefloor-ready house music.

We’ve been quiet, and much like the rest of the world, in a state of lock-down. Whilst no one is allowed to leave or enter Australia, the one thing that can travel is the Australian sound.

Our first digital release presents a line up filled with Australian-only artists featuring a variety of established and familiar faces alongside a bunch of new ones. The nature of the scene today can sometimes be restrictive for those wanting to get their tunes heard and into the ears of listeners around the world. To combat this issue, we wanted this release to also focus on giving a shot to all, who during these times, have also taken a crack at forming a sound of their own. The Australian sound has thus slowly emerged and penetrated the global scene as the Down Under VA pushes all things house, minimal, and electro to span a broad selection of electronic and club-grade tracks.

The Down Under VA is now available for purchase through Bandcamp and we couldn’t be more excited to get this released after over a year of production and planning.
