Once upon a rickety ship, sailed Trikk and Gabriel Massan on a voyage fantastical, To the land of rhythm and beats, where dreams turned magical. Their music, a wondrous creation, set hearts aflutter and souls to soar, "Mata Mata," a melody untamed, with its essence hard to ignore.

Innervisions, the mystical realm, where musical spirits danced and played, Welcomed the duo with open arms, their talent grandly displayed. But lo and behold! Working Men's Club, the sorcerers of sound, Embarked on a mission to remix, adding their touch profound.

Like a cauldron brewing, the remix simmered, enchantment in the air, The beats electrified, melodies transformed with flair. The dancefloor trembled with delight, as bodies moved in perfect sync, The crowd bewitched, captivated, with every rhythmic link.

Trikk's vocals entwined with Gabriel's, harmonies whispered in the night, A symphony of enchantment, a dazzling musical sight. Innervisions revelled in the magic, their spirits soaring high, Trikk, Gabriel, and Working Men's Club, in musical harmony they lie.

And so, the tale of "Mata Mata" weaves through time and space, A fusion of talents, a mesmerising chase. Edward Lear would surely smile, at this whimsical display, As music's magic unfolded, in Lear's peculiar way.

Trikk's debut album, Fauna & Flora was released earlier this year on Innervisions and showcased collaborations with artists such as Jimi Jules and Gabriel Massan. The album blends club music with art-rock, punk, and post-punk elements. Now comes remix EP featuring Roman Flügel, Or:la, and the jackin' Working Men's Club which we're premiering here...

In the two years since his debut EP on Ultramajic, Berlin-based Chambray has dedicated himself to a sole musical purpose. Pick up any of his recent works, from his original productions to remixes for heavyweights like Amtrac and DJ Deeon, and you’ll hear cutting edge energetic aesthetics, all the ingredients for hatching an adrenalin rush and the creation of perfect dancefloor alchemy.

Chambray's debut album ‘Reliev’ is the embodiment of his positive energy that unites listeners from across scenes. His music strikes a careful balance and creates harmonic relationships between classic house heads, Chicago ghetto house shufflers and UK bass lovers.

Seamlessly woven together on ‘Reliev’ are jacking house beats, stabbing piano chords, crisp techno kicks and vocals from Chambray and his friends. Every track is laced with a common thread - a mechanically assisted funk that flows in synchronicity and grabs you by the guts. ‘Yousme' is an aerodynamic drum tool for eager feet, inaugurating a lethal set of tracks designed to free both body and mind. ‘Cerulean’, as the name suggests, colours up the cognitive pathway with more synth washes and piano stabs. Gearing up into full ghetto mode, the album peaks with ‘Qt Wit Da Bty’, a cheeky take on booty house. Chambray beckons you back to the floor with the chanting vocals of ‘Want it Back’.  ‘Acres’ sets the landscape for the album with rising synths, chord stabs and a pumping twisted tech funk groove.  Finally, ‘Treat Yo Self’ provides a refreshing mint with its aqueous synth notes flowing through the broken drum structure.

Loz Goddard is a Manchester based musician and DJ who has been producing records for the likes of Outplay, Razor-N-Tape, Quintessentials, Secret Reels and Large. When he isn't working on his own beats, Mr. Goddard runs one of the most underrated radio shows on the internet known as Downtown Groove Sessions, where he invites artists from near and far to share some of the most promising and upcoming deep house tracks on the horizon. Personally, his shows have played an integral role in exposing me to some of the best songs the underground has to offer and I could not be more appreciative.

We were lucky enough to interview Loz about a year and a half ago, in which he compiled a mix for us and taught us how to grow fine chilies. Since that time, Loz has taken a bit of a break from producing but appears to be getting back into the groove with his upcoming release Find Me on the prestigious imprint Church. Featuring a collection of three originals and a remix from the lads of Session Victim, we are definitely glad that he has finally got the juices flowing again. This occurrence may or may not be chili related.

For his title track, which we are premiering for you guys today, Loz puts together his own unique brand of melodic, deep house in which he pairs an eclectic mix of jazz instrumentation with rolling basslines and steadfast percussion - the likes of which resembles the work of contemporaries such as Laurence Guy. Arguably the most memorable and captivating feature of the song has to be the sampled vocal that is laid out throughout its entirety. Smokey and evocative, this mysterious voice will leave you feeling hot and bothered with its faint whispers imploring you to come find it. I don't know where this person is, but this song makes me want to start looking immediately.
