The San Francisco based trio Ultraset began producing their own brand of indie-pop in the mid 2000s, releasing their self titled EP in 2007. Comprised of Jeff Hall (guitars, beats), Jill Jodar (vocals, keyboards), and Derrick Mcbride (bass, guitar, beats). Their music is a blend of lush/edgy pop, and has been described as “good music to make out to”. Ultraset released The Tender Nob in 2010 and is set to release The Constant Urge to Run at the end of 2013.
