Atlas, the label debut EP by Foxconn Suicide, is a dense ocean of dilated, murky industrial grooves, shimmering trance-derived arpeggios and sporadic noisy, deteriorating assaults.

In a swamp steeped in digital pitfalls, the duo's mechanical contortions turn a stern gaze to the mournful march of the industrial world and the cold rave nostalgia of centuries past, guiding us to the stake of an old and painful path, favoring under their breath an unknown and present torment.

Exploring the dangerous limits of the senses, the EP's five tracks accompany us on this violent immersion into the human ego, accepting the intimate and dark boundaries of self-processing and finally rebelling through an uneasy, neuromantic but necessary reaction.

"A while back I found a Casio keyboard on the sidewalk. I took it home and pulled it apart. After discarding the keys and exposing the IC and circuit boards, I began to soldier connections between the IC and various copper nodes on the Keyboard. In some places, I installed switches and pots between the wires. Some of the wires I allowed to float above the board so that I could use alligator clips, or my fingers, to make temporary connections. This tape documents the sounds the new instrument produced. The album cover is a photo of the instrument as it looked during the recording process" - JJR 2023
