22-year-old, Berlin-based Benjamin Led (aka BEAN) began making music aged 15 using a cracked copy of Ableton he found on his brother's laptop. With influences spanning from Arca to Rachmaninow, the artist has taken to reshaping classical music techniques into electronic music - with some wildly impressive results. His second release on the LA-based label TAR, his 'PSYCHO' EP smashes together frenzied elements of ambient and trance in a wholly transcendental way - with more than a few hints of Evian Christ, doon kanda, and the aforementioned auteur, Arca. @trngs is a maximalist hi-fi music producer, multimedial artist and an occasional but quite a good sk8ter. After us grinding heavy on his last year’s projects BILOCATE and LAPTOP CREMATION, we reached out and he shared couple of very intense wav. files with us.

All the three files contain visceral sound tangles, which TRNGS himself (with our honest confirmation) insists on calling „dance“ music. Like in the cover of the record, which is capturing the tragedy of today's environmental condition, bits of the artificial sound elements blend insensibly into the organic material, all together creating a complicated 3-part puzzle, layed out on dark and rather disturbing background.
„I am very passionate about making music with sort of uncanny relationship between synthesized and sampled sounds“, describes TRNGS on that note.

We have designed a sleek 3D-printed flower pot as an object accompanying the EP, so you can plant yourself a dose of organic green hope (with possible shades of purple) into this tiny zen garden.

Re:Conceive is a collection of tracks from artists living in Tiohtiá:ke:, so-called 'montréal', which is raising money for The Native Women's Shelter and The Just Solutions Clinic. It aims to activate solidarity between indigenous peoples, settlers, immigrants and refugees alike. Electronic music is a potent conduit in this process, in reclaiming space where just realities might be cultivated or imagined. With the arrival of the rising global tide of right wing politics in 'québec', and the unaddressed history and continuance of colonialism and structural white supremacy in 'canada' at large, it is high time that we reconceive of our history, our present, and our way forward.

All revenue generated by this compilation will be donated 50/50 to The Native Women's Shelter of Montréal and The Just Solutions Clinic.
