Rebirth - Ulugbek

A black metal track I composed for my Grade 10 Music class under Mr Odendaal, my Music teacher. The piece was admitted as the best piece overall in around 20-students class, which was surprising -- it is black metal after all! IT ISN"T SUPPOSED TO BE POPULAR!!!!! 

Anywise, with its clear black metal elements, it ends in a quite dark fantasy mood. Which I love and hope you will love it, too.

Funeral Doom

I literally wrote this in a couple of days. It was the point when I was just starting to play with free Spitfire Labs plugins. Being probably the most finished piece of mine so far, it was inspired by a first scene of the play "Khaos" - I read it through and immediately opened my "existentialism and absurdism" track that already contained the piano melody at the end (which clearly contrasts the first part) and added Soft Piano, Frozen Strings, Brutalizer plugins to create this hopeless yet dynamic atmosphere of the piece. The title is influenced by my philosophical endeavors at the time when I was delving into the doctrines and subtle differences of nihilism, existentialism, and absurdism. 

For a happy ending, I would add that the piece ended up being put by me into the High School Drama Production (for which I worked as a Composer and Musical Co-Director), altogether with Rebirth. They two heavily influenced the perception of the play by the audience as they would pop up throughout the whole play, being a motif for key characters of the production.

Apart from being included into the play, I simply love it for its rich sound, dynamic rhythm and overall mood. Join me in this joy and have a listen to the track.

As the name suggests, I drew my inspiration from the 2nd season of Dota: Dragon's blood series, or rather, from its ending. I think I tried to resemble the sounds in the original soundtrack of the series, but the actual melodic line came from me playing a guitar.
