Rupturing the Great Fabrication

Umbilical Chain provides a complete wall of sound that is both pummeling and intricate. Relying on a very strong, rhythmically precise backbone, the band is able to explore and incorporate occasional melodic lines into the bulk of its structure. The band supplies a meticulously concocted force full of dizzying riffs, trampling percussion, a variation of vocal styles, and broad chorus sections. While a great percentage of the music is based on the fundamentals of death metal, that foundation is supported by apparent layers of traditional black metal, grind, and progressive accents.
