From an analytical view, the dialogue seen in the description, if intended to mimic the original Sans and Papyrus exposition scene, does a bad job at doing so. Nothing is revealed about Alphys or Undyne in this scene. All Undyne does is talk about how the "scientist" (Not even royal scientist.) needs Alphys's help, and that Alphys looks like they are about to piss themself. Literally nothing else. One could argue that Alphys is being called to the lab because they are smart and they'd be right. But what else is there to say? They might as well be talking about their pet rock. For a scene that includes modern furniture, this is very not good writing. Not to mention that this conversation isn't even PG-13. Wouldn't be surprised if Undyne drops the f-bomb in her battle. But, of course, this could very well be Undyne's differentiation between her human-hunting fanatic personality and this one. We may never know, as this game is in fact not being developed. TL;DR this dialogue triggers me.
