Liuos seemed to arrive on the dub techno scene all at once with Terms EP, his strong debut on Cold Tear Records, but this was the culmination of two decades of experimentation and discipline. A unique mix of power and spaciousness, of both longing and will, Liuos’ work stands out for its clarity and expansiveness. Working steadily from his modest studio in Finland, Liuos has quietly become a respected name in the world of dub techno, with releases on Cold Tear, Lucidflow, and spclnch, and remixes for Superordinate Dub Waves and Off Records (Belgium).

PolFavor, a Dutch artist and music creator, teams up with Alfonso Ibarra, a Spanish singer whose timeless voice and classic charm blend tradition with the vibrant energy of the White Isle. Together, they create a nostalgic ode to Ibiza’s legendary nightlife.

In this particular playlist we are presenting different shapes of Dub Techno. Therefore we reached out to our friends and Guest DJs to record and create a set for you.

Artist Bio:
Emesh led by Antonio Muñoz is a master in creative music production across electronic, ambient, slow trance, idm and dub. He comes from the beautiful region of La Alcarria in Spain. Since 2013 on Sendero Records, he has been delivering a quite diverse range of sound to the listener, sometimes danceable, sometimes calming, more metallic, more organic, and always inspiring. Antonio is both, a musician and therapist. His musical influences owe much to the pop and electronics of the 80s when he started working as resident Dj at Deadly club in Brihuega (Guadalajara-Spain) about 9 years. From there he went to Madrid to do Dj sets with his aka Dujay in various popular nightspots of the capital like the Circulo de Bellas Artes, Mondo and Maxime between others, in addition in the early 2000s he is the founder of the underground parties Darkbeat, programming deep trance and progressive house, pioneers in the city. Working with these sounds allowed him to warm up James Holden the first time he visited Spain in 2003. Evolving his skills, he delved into music production, mastering various instruments and exploring sound therapy rooted in shamanic practices. Antonio gives regular sound therapy sessions and journeys using his Tibetan Singing Bowls, Shamanic Drum and other ancient instruments. His talent has been recognized on a global stage, with his track featured at the London Music Conference in 2020 playing a set at fabric@london. This global recognition is a testament to his skill and creativity. Currently, he's immersed in his studio, Elul, recently completing an indie electronic EP with Miss Zagato, and recent releases on Initiate Rec., Piranha Siberia Dub, Blue Lotus and Something Spæcial label. Emesh @ Sublime Dub Techno Sessions

An ambient mix aimed to slow the monkey mind down, catch it and slow it down into the realms of Somnia ... sleep. Mix is composed from eclectic magical mix of mantras,  swirling dreamscapes , binaural and isochronic frequencies to relax the brain and the body for recharging the soul. I made this mix 7 years ago when I would work 12-18hrs long, brutal shifts as a doctor in the psychER, and my mind needed to detox from the vicarious trauma and frenetic events of the shift(s). The first ten minues of the mix are melodic ambient but then I slowed down the energy and tempo after ten minutes deliberately to catch the restless monkey mind and slow it down into the realms of sleep and letting go. How I did the mix: using Traktor d/t needing 4-6 tracks for mixing, then mastering/tidying up in Ableton. I trust this mix helps you regenerate into the radiance of love that we all are.
