If you’re familiar with Elevate then you’ll know how much we love to supply the heat for the dancefloor. Our latest release from T95 is no different! A producer who has shot onto many people’s radars over the past year – especially following the #1 charting Beatport success of his debut “On Site” single with DRS – T95 continues to impress with every release. Despite being in the early stages of his career, he’s already released with Playaz, Shogun, Hospital, Overview and Onyx – the latter of which produced T95’s renowned link up with Duskee on “Break The Ice”.

Featuring on Elevate for the first time, “Movin’” is a jump-up infused track taking a particularly heavier approach compared to T95’s recent releases where he has been honing a deeper, darker liquid sound. But it’s not much of a surprise when you consider the artist spent years working away under a jump up moniker before arriving at T95 – a name now at the heart of D&B’s exciting next gen. In a world where we’re constantly looking for the next best thing, T95 is without doubt an artist ravers are going to be flocking to in years to come.

You probably know this one already. Having spent a good while circulating amongst the scene's elite on dub, it's proven its explosive power time and time again across streams, radio, and raves (for those of you old enough to remember them!). But, of course it has. It's the mighty Drumsound & Bassline Smith on the buttons after all, so we were always going to be treated to something a bit special.

From the opening ominous orchestral chords, 'Run Tings' has neo-classic written all over it. Conjuring vibes with expertly deployed samples and tension-heightening drums, it's clear that Drumsound & Bassline Smith are setting us up for something deadly. The drums build, the eponymous vocal sample hits and then we're delivered into madness.

Basslines hit from all angles. Staccato metronomic phrases bounce off mid-range grind and low-end grit. Patterns of call and response are established and almost immediately twisted into something different. The punchy two-step is supplemented by those ever-present Drumsound & Bassline Smith breaks. All that combines to whisk us on an irresistible journey, creating a musical narrative into which we can't help being drawn.

So, it's another anthemic entry in the Drumsound & Bassline Smith discography, demonstrating their masterful control over musical energy. This is drum 'n' bass that connects, whether you're playing for a packed dancefloor or vibing in private. Big things.
