I wrote this song back in early December.  I have sat on it since then trying to decide if I liked it enough to publish it.  I am still not sure if it deserves the light of day.  I like the chorus.  But the verse doesn't have the quality feel I desire.  Let me know.  Should I have tossed this song?

Chorale Etude: an Experiment in Structure

An experiment in structure formed by a 34 bar chorale harmonised mainly by major chords organised into sequences obeying fibonacci and lucas series in duration time. The structure is tripartite consisting of fragments of the chorale theme with repetition and variation followed by a statemant of the full chorale theme and finishing with a return to the first section fragmentation with a short coda.

the story of the photo and the song
 Muratağa is a small village in the middle of Cyprus, its old name was Maratha, it gave its name to this work because there was a massacre in this village in 1974. Only children, women and the elderly were killed in this massacre.

The man seen in this photo is my father and his dog Sarman, the date is August 14, 1974, when my father came to the village there was no one in the village and the houses were in a shambles, Sarman wanted to take my father to the place where the massacre pit was and my father followed the dog and faced the worst moment of his life, his mother from the pit , her grandmother and 6 siblings were also removed.
