"Sur le chemin d'Uskudar" (2022) is my fantasy about a piece of 200-year-old traditional folk music from the Ottoman era called "Katibim". I took just the main theme of it and turned it into a completely different song without following any traditional forms, formulas, or styles. I added a French translation of the lyrics but without the vocal melody of the original piece. The song transforms into different moods with different sounds.
