Sharing you my set recorded at THEØFFICE in Yerevan for @backand-forth last August, where I shared the booth with Innersha and Yhii. This night is a truly heartwarming memory for me! The Office is a remarkable venue where every detail has been thoughtfully curated. Playing there was a really special experience—the sound system, from the booth to the dancefloor, is simply incredible.

As I had the honor of opening the night, this set gradually evolves between tribalistic and trance-infused atmospheres. Really enjoyed diving into these sounds!

When hearing Max sets raw & classy comes to my mind. He’s with full attention to the records their blending and authentic energy. Originally from Lille, France, Max’s move to Berlin in 2017 sparked a deeper connection to music. His influences range from classic labels like Primate Recordings to more current ones like Token and Blueprint. He’s also exploring house music through his project “VICE/VERSA” with Ogazón – we got spoiled for sunset with a selection from ambient, to breaks, to dub techno and everything in between - listen yourself.

Marking their debut on Neurom Records, The Journey of Being is a five-part exploration of immersive, hypnotic techno, crafted for open-air settings where nature becomes part of the sound system. Designed for both sunlight and starlight, these tracks resonate with organic rhythms, pulsing warmth, and basslines that echo across imagined landscapes.

Fonzo, the live hardware duo formed by Telmo and Ricardo Afonso, builds each piece with a focus on flow and presence. From the radiant propulsion of Heliosphere to the deeper tones of Hibernation and the introspective climax The Journey of Being, the EP weaves a sonic path through transformation and awareness.

At its core, this record aligns with Neurom’s vision: music as a space of resonance, between body and terrain, emotion and structure. Fonzo’s language is instinctive and atmospheric, powered by psychedelia, rhythm, and the freedom of live expression.

This is my second liveset. I have done it in the covid-'holiday'-time in April 2020. I had so much time for playing with my kids, making music and watching TV :D
It is all done with a Octatrack, a Novation Drumstation, a Novation A-Station, an Elektron Analog Drive, a Korg Monologue and a Roland VT-3. ....it goes all through a Mackie mixer and an Alesis Smashup compressor.

So I think, that there will be no other videocut from my livesets in the future. It looks so easy, when you watch such videos, but is sooooooooo hard to produce them!
