Emerging from Lyon’s rave scene, @Umwelt-music has been releasing apocalyptic electro since the late nineties. The French producer and DJ has been steadily putting out records ever since and will likely be a familiar name to those with even a passing interest in the genre.

“Daevas”, meaning divinities of chaos and disorder in the Zoroastrian faith, is the combined effort of SARIN x SCARLIT PORT recorded in Berlin during the lockdown of 2020. 

The six track 30 minute EP is a winding journey that dives into both artists’ shared Persian heritage by referencing ancient pagan Gods, mysticism and the more recent tragic histories of colonialism, dictatorships, longing and a sense of being uprooted. 

These unwinding stories and artefacts are imprinted within a dark cascade of sounds incorporating and combining each artist’s influences to create a total work that encompasses elements of techno body music, acid, industrial and the subtle application of more traditional Persian musical forms.

His music defines itself as a mixture between New Wave and Break Beat Electro which is influenced by the distorted drum machines of The Haque as well as the romantic synth melodies of the 80s San Francisco.
Over the last two years, L.F.T. has released several records on different labels like Return To Disorder, Mechatronica, Eye for An Eye Recordings and also his debut album on Osaré Editions.
Living in Hamburg Germany, he curates concert evenings at the Golden Pudel Club, together with his friend Lukas.
They also run an independent record label called „Neoprimitive“ which is focuses on experimental music.
L.F.T. released his second album „Salz“ on Mannequin Records last year and will continue to make music for dark days.

Pulling vocal influences of the likes of Depeche Mode, Bowie and Type O Negative, and the heavy dance beats of Nine Inch Nails, and Nitzer Ebb into a cinematic aural onslaught, ÆON RINGS infectious and emotive songs are intense and refreshing breathe life into the alternative underground in electronic music. 'Fully Operational' is a heavy hitting and emotional song with a classic industrial and EBM palate of sounds combined with an 80’s Freestyle beat to give intensity as well as an infectious dance groove. Their new song  comes off the band’s album “Enemy”, out Oct 7th on Negative Gain.
