Born and raised on Chicago's south side, Malik Worthy has been a writer in the music industry since 1997, when he wrote and played on Esthero's debut album Breath From Another. Touring with the Esthero band for two years as part of the Blackcorners Music (Sony Canada), Malik met his soon to be collaborator Kobe James in 1997. 

Born and raised in west Philly, Kobe was accompanying Nelly Furtado as her first-guitar player on the Lilith Fair tour. Malik and Kobe’s co-writing credits included Ice King (Res), Electric (Anna Cyzon), Wicked Lil Grrrlz (Esthero), Mmm Papi (Britney Spears), et al.

After working independently, the two came back together in 2005 to form the super group Un Sung Hero. Six years in the making, their self-titled album Un Sung Hero features mix master dj Redlox. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Redlox is the co-creator of dub step group Mighty Dub Killers and a major figure in the Chicago reggae club scene. 

Completed through intensive studio work, Un Sung Hero is proud to finally release their creation onto the world.
