[GiB007] FLUCC - Sawblade Screams And A Butterfly’s Dream

With his debut album “Sawblade Screams And A Butterfly’s Dream” FLUCC delivers a 15 track LP of introspective alternative hard dance music. The release is a genre defying journey through the tense, yet beautiful landscape of heart soothing synths and ear piercing drums. FLUCC brings together influences from Hardcore, Drum and Bass/Jungle, Techno, Trance and Ambient Music for a manifesto of his sound that aims to resonate beyond the dance floor. 

The LP is an appeal to the experimental and unconventional side of hardcore techno. The tracks invite an open minded and empowering ethos and to challenge the often rigid and hypermasculine norms of the mainstream. They are for all the gabber fairies and dance floor goblins, from my heart to yours, to listen, to dance and to feel.

“Friday Cryday” originated from some sound experimentation with kicks and leads aiming to create a dismal and desolate atmosphere. The breakdowns are structured around a recording of a friend of mine on the piano.
