Affectionately known as 'Coach Monique,' she has earned a professional coaching credential with the International Coach Federation, is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan and Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University. Amber Perkins is a hair loss blogger and YouTuber who has experienced thin hair throughout her life. Amber started experiencing hair loss as she got older and had children. Having a love for all things hair, it was a hard pill to swallow being diagnosed with Alopecia and experiencing the anxiety of hair loss. Amber always loved extensions and hair additions, but after baby number three, and a massive postpartum shed, she dived into the world of alternative hair.

Four years ago, Amber decided to start sharing her journey to give advice and encouragement to others going through medical hair loss. Sharing her story has healed and empowered Amber, and given her a huge passion for this industry. Amber has worked and collaborated alongside many brands, has been educated through the Jon Renau educators, was a guest speaker at Jon Renau CORE and was involved in the Jon Renau Gets Real Campaign in 2018.

Today, Amber is an advocate for the changes alternative hair can bring into people's lives and is on a mission to help others embrace themselves, knowing they are unique, beautiful and worthy, with or without hair.

Kellie Scott is also known as “hairlossboss” is an Australian journalist with a passion for writing about sex and relationships. The 34-year-old developed androgenic alopecia at 27 and has been wearing alternative hair for the past two years. Kellie believes accepting hair loss rather than trying to "cure" it is the best way to find peace. 


Realizing there are thousands of other women going through the same thing and leaning on that community for support has been the biggest blessing in sharing her journey publicly. Today, Kellie has created a community of over sixteen thousand people on Instagram and is on a mission to normalize hair loss in a society where having a full head of hair is a beauty standard.
