Unbeyond Anthologies are thrilled to present the first entry in our new compilation series, “Splinters”.

As the UK bass scene matures and grows, potential continues to burst at the seams of the many genres it is made up of, acting as a well of inspiration for artists all over the world. Unbeyond Anthologies have endeavoured to bottle some of that boundless energy, resulting in a new four-track release from the label featuring inductees and new faces alike.

Label boss Scavenger kicks off the release with “Folly”, a melody-driven 140 stomper that entrances the listener with its dense, atmospheric drops. SHAZKEI’s “Converge” slows down the tempo and delivers a dark trap-influenced number led by haunting melodic progressions, while Parallex’s “Ran Out Of Names” harkens back to the wobbly tearout songs of the late 2000s, capped with piano-driven verses. Stellar Dendrites closes out the project with “Hyperbolic”, a mellow track that takes heavy influence from purple sound, brought together by ethereal ambient leanings.
