 "Hey! wielder here. This track was heavily inspired by lots of artists that I love and learned from.  During the creation process, I fell into a dark time where I doubted myself artistically based on the opinions of others when what really mattered was what I loved. I felt that it was one of my best and most intricate tracks yet. It was honestly surreal when Johnny and Megan decided to release this track. A couple years ago, Flume released a collection of samples in a pack titled "Flume Sounds".  Our latest release is a SC & YT exclusive, an idea that stemmed from one of those samples.   Ukiyo is a Japanese term that originally expressed the Buddhist idea of the transitory nature of life. During the Edo period, the character meaning “to float” was substituted for the homonym meaning “transitory” to express an attitude of the joys of living.
