We are delighted to have over Marijan Raskovic who goes by the moniker 'Jelly for The Babies', for the forty-eighth edition of 'Deep In Mix' series. Marijan is currently based out of a small town called Aranđelovac, Serbia and is the head A&R of the labels - One Of A Kind, RYNTH & The Purr. Crafted in 2007, the Jelly For The Babies project focuses mostly on deep, mystical and melodic sounds.

Marijan's passion for music extends beyond his own productions, as seen in the creation of his publishing house, The Purr. The Purr was established with the aim of connecting talented performers from all around the world, both established and emerging. The label aims to follow the current trends in the music scene while also maintaining the dignity that has become synonymous with its brand. Marijan's love for progressive house music led him to establish One of a Kind and he also established RYNTH, which was initially based on downtempo music, but as the deep house sound evolved, it became more closely aligned with downtempo electronica. His commitment to organic sound has been a driving force in the evolution of his music and the labels he has created.

Marijan's musical influences range from Punk Rock to hip-hop to electronic music. However, it is the Prodigy who has influenced him the most. Their unique blend of electronic music with guitars, jungle rhythm, punk core, and other elements inspired Marijan to create something truly unique in his own music. His other influences include Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Karl Jenkins, and Enigma. He loves meeting new people, learning new things, and travelling to new places, which he believes helps him to grow as a person and as an artist.

He has gained massive support from artists like Mendo, H.O.S.H., Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Atish, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Mark Knight, Oliver Schories, Darin Epsilon, to name a few. From time to time his music has become slower and deeper. “As we grow old, the bpm goes down”, he quotes. Marijan hopes that the listeners will enjoy this mix as much as he did while recording it.
