The Argentinian’s track “THE PIANO” was techno number one for six consecutive months, so label boss Marco Faraone thought that after this outstanding result he was the perfect artist to collect this new musical journey sharing his personal music message. Having made numerous appearances on Rekids including ‘No Filter’, his debut album released in 2020, Marco Faraone has become a core artist on Matt Edwards’s label when not releasing on his very own imprint. Reflecting on an amazingly creative 2020, at the start of this year Marco set a new creative path for his future, writing new music that received regular support from many of the most important artists in the scene.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “Kofan” that has a menacing feel straight out the gate. Edgy and hypnotic stabs create the abstract hook surrounded by other layers and fine touches of sound that keep it driving forward. The powerful track later adds more bleeping tones to the unrelenting style it beholds, and being one that seasoned techno heads will happily get lost in its mechanical aesthetic.
