Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal's GREEN imprint has, in just seventeen releases, become a highly regarded source of modern and melodic electronica. Ripperton, Patrice Baumel and Stimming are just some of the names to have graced the label with their unique and wonderfully diverse music. GR18 displays a new musical direction for an artist who has inspired both our label heads since the 1990's. Green is proud to welcome Roland Klinkenberg with Construct #1.

Since the early 90's Roland has explored the farthest reaches of the progressive sound, crafting assonant ambiences with ease. Experimenting with dub delays and with a fresh, non-results driven outlook, the Dutchman's recent studio sessions have found him wandering in new musical directions. Using field recordings of his son Yani, Roland has created two beautiful dub-tinged tracks that have already won the hearts of Joris and Edwin and are now ready to gather your love.

Short info: Running Back’s 50th anniversary comes courtesy of Redshape. After his utilitarian Bonuz Beatz effort earlier this year, the masked man is back on the monolithic techno tip. Graced with a sense of tradition and a modern stlye of execution, “Leaves” is the sort of warehouse rave signal that exceeds the sole purpose of a tool. Speaking of which, it comes in two different mixes to choose from accompanied by two unclothed versions for the creative DJ mind.

Starting as a label that served basically as a platform for their friends’ music in 2010, Uncanny Valley evolved into a record label that assembles acclaimed artists from the electronic music scene not only from the label’s base in Dresden but also from Germany and beyond. With a strong emphasis on the records’ artwork the label heads Philipp Demankowski, Conrad Kaden and Carl-Johannes Schulze are constantly on a mission to establish and refine the artists from the roster as well as to search for new talents. Artists as Jacob Korn, Cuthead, Credit 00, Massimiliano Pagliara, CVBox or Panthera Krause all feel at home on the label, giving them the chance to develop projects that are not only music related but can also integrate different art forms. With the two offshoots Rat Life and shtum under its belt, Uncanny Valley does not stand still to explore the full spectrum of electronic and not so electronic music from House via Disco, Hip-Hop or Ambient through to Techno.
