This is what I was up to yesterday!! In the studio with the fabulous Neil Segrott and Neil Rabjohn putting the cajon and bass parts on to my warbling! Great fun and now we have a demo CD to get some gigs!

The first three tracks are, of course, by the wonderful Joni Mitchell and the last track, Narcissus was written by me after a chat with a psychiatrist who was telling me that narcissist people are the most poisonous and how to recogise them

Shinjuku Fugue

 I am a pro musician active in many genres of music - singer-songwriter, jazz, electronic music, Celtic, new age, ambient, and world music. My Soundcloud is a place to park latest mixes of pieces I am working on. I "organise" a monthly improvised electronic music night Quadelectronic at Quad Studios, Leicester. I have released over 80 albums, solo and in various groups. My electronic music, often featuring the theremin, is often focussed on ambient dreamscapes, largely tonal but sometimes just crossing over into atonal/textural soundscapes and is usually born out of a longstanging love of improvisation, perhaps springing from my ECM style jazz & free jazz background.
